Community Outreach
Community Outreach is central to achieving Wild Space’s mission of engaging audiences with dance in a shared experience of place and community.
Outreach programs include:
InSite: Choreographic Exchange
Engaging new audiences through free community performances, the InSite program commissions choreographers of color to create new works for new sites, bringing Wild Space to new neighborhoods. Audience surveys indicate that 98% of program participants increase their awareness of Milwaukee’s history, diversity, and/or cultural resources.
