Kelly Radermacher Butts danced, created and taught in Minneapolis for seven years performing and collaborating with: April Sellers Dance Collective, Gerry Girouard, Off-Leash Area, and DA Dance. Evening works showcased in MN and WI have included: Spill. Moves and Movies that Stain. (2008, Patrick's Cabaret); SlapDash (2010, Ritz Theater); Nucleus...And Other Cell Bodies (2012, Southern Theater and Studio Lounge); and Recombobulation Area (2013, The Underground Collaborative). With a Bachelor's degree in Dance/Anthropology and an Elementary/Pre-primary Education Certification, she freelances as a dance instructor, and teaches 4K. She began dancing for Wild Space in 2011.
Angela Frederick is in her tenth season with Wild Space. After graduating with a BFA in dance from PSOA, Angela performed with Danceworks, the Florentine Opera, Dale Gutzman Productions and City Ballet Theatre. While living in Chicago, Angela worked with Kinetic Dance Theatre, Perceptual Motion Inc, Irreverence Dance+Theatre, and Jayson Dance Co. Angela has choreographed and appeared in work with Solstance, Around the Coyote Dance Festival, and Dance Chicago, and appeared in the Chicago International REEL Shorts Festival's award-winning film The Table. In Milwaukee, she has performed the role of Margot in the Florentine Opera's The Merry Widow and enjoys dancing and teaching for Wild Space, UWM and Milwaukee Turners.
Danielle Lohuis graduated in 2015 with a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Somatics from PSOA. From Green Bay, WI, she has been living in Milwaukee on and off since 2007. Danielle has performed for Luc Vanier, Trish Sie, Petr Zahradníček, Sarah Weber Gallo and Stephen Koplowitz. This marks Danielle’s fourth performance with Wild Space, following October’s site-specific event, Luminous, at Mitchell Park.
Maggie Seer received a BFA in Dance from PSOA in December 2016. This is will be Maggie’s fifth performance with Wild Space, following Fresh Tracks, Into the Garden, and the recent collaboration with Sensoria. Maggie has performed with Maria Gillespie and Tim Russell’s Hyperlocal MKE, the Gina Laurenzi Dance Project, and Danceworks’ Get It Out There. She has performed the works of Maria Gillespie, Molly Shanahan, Sarah Weber Gallo, Dani Kuepper, Darci Wutz, Rachel Rugh, and Jennifer Sydor.
Nicole Spence, UWM Intern, is a PSOA BFA Dance major along with a second major in occupational studies. She has been performing with Wild Space since Fall 2016 She is currently doing a choreographic internship with Wild Space where she is allowed to create movement and research along side dancers. Her choreographic career is just beginning with her first work performed in UWM Dance Department shows New Dancemakers and Springdances.
Daniel Schuchart is an interdisciplinary artist and teacher and a 2016 Dance New Work Award at PSOA. He creates and produces work in collaboration with Monica Rodero and their work has been presented throughout the US, including California, Montana, Minneapolis, Seattle and New York City. Schuchart earned BFA degrees in Dance and Painting/Drawing from PSOA and an MFA in Choreography from UC-Riverside. For the past 15 years, he has worked with Wild Space as a company member, choreographer, and recently as Associate Artistic Director. Dan has taught at Lawrence University, UCR, UWM, UW-Whitewater, Milwaukee Ballet, and the American College Dance Festival.
